This o-ring is supplied in AS568-372 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 8.725 in (221.62 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.145 in (232.28 mm), catalogued under part number TES70372. PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core and chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone. This material stands up to steam, strong acids and solvents, and wide temperature swings. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Verify compatibility before use with tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges.
