568-375 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

The TES70375 is an AS568-375 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 9.475 in (240.67 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.895 in (251.33 mm). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces. Source specification: ORING 70 Durometer.

PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified here for strong resistance to permeation and excellent recovery across extreme temperature cycling. It resists nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and wide temperature swings. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges or tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.
