568-010 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-010 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 0.239 in (6.07 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.379 in (9.63 mm), catalogued under part number TEV80010. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

The compound resists steam, nearly all process chemicals, and aggressive oxidizers. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core and a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling. Service temperature is rated from -75°F (-59.4°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.
