568-022 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

The TEV80022 is an AS568-022 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.989 in (25.12 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.129 in (28.68 mm). This o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is widely chosen for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core and long service life in aggressive chemical duty. The material holds up against nearly all process chemicals, steam, and aggressive oxidizers. Continuous operating temperature is published at -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care.
