568-120 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

The TEV80120 is an AS568-120 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.987 in (25.07 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.193 in (30.3 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is specified here for chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring and non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling. The compound resists strong acids and solvents, aggressive oxidizers, and steam. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care.

It sees regular use in aggressive-media valves and pumps, chemical processing, and food and beverage.
