Part number TEV80277 is an AS568-277 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 11.484 in (291.69 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 11.762 in (298.75 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

Expect good resistance to nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and aggressive oxidizers. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core and long service life in aggressive chemical duty. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care are present.

Typical settings include semiconductor equipment, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and food and beverage.
