568-374 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-374 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A supplied with an inside diameter of 9.225 in (234.32 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.645 in (244.98 mm), catalogued under part number TEV80374. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and aggressive oxidizers. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® delivers a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core and long service life in aggressive chemical duty. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. It is not the right choice where installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing are present.

Typical settings include aggressive-media valves and pumps, food and beverage, and semiconductor equipment.
