568-387 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-387 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 17.955 in (456.06 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 18.375 in (466.73 mm), catalogued under part number TEV80387. It delivers dependable bidirectional sealing in a compact groove envelope.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® offers a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. The material holds up against nearly all process chemicals, aggressive oxidizers, and steam. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.
