APG stocks the TEV80429, an AS568-429 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.975 in (126.37 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 5.525 in (140.34 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is widely chosen for a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core and chemical inertness of PTFE with the memory of a rubber o-ring. Expect good resistance to aggressive oxidizers, nearly all process chemicals, and strong acids and solvents. Published continuous service range is -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
