568-452 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

TEV80452 is an AS568-452 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 11.475 in (291.47 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 12.025 in (305.44 mm). In service, this o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Expect good resistance to nearly all process chemicals, strong acids and solvents, and steam. That behavior comes from the compound itself: PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for a non-stick sealing surface that resists fouling and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient elastomer core. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges without care.
