APG stocks the 3E1520SAAL, a Tough-Tite Aluminum Spool Adapter Cam and Groove Coupling built to a 1-1/2 inch nominal size and an adjustment range of 1 1/2 inch to 2 inch. A cam and groove coupling joins two male adapter ends back to back.

The material holds up against many petroleum products, weathering, and general atmospheric corrosion. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Aluminum delivers good corrosion resistance in general industrial service and economical cost per connection. It is not the right choice where prolonged salt water immersion or strong acids and alkalis are present.

Typical settings include tank truck and bulk transfer, petroleum transfer, and agriculture and irrigation.
