APG stocks the 3E05ASS, a Tough-Tite Stainless Steel Part A Male Adapter x Female NPT Cam and Groove Coupling measuring a 1/2 inch nominal size. A cam and groove coupling joins a male adapter end to a female NPT thread. Source specification: Does Not Interchange With Evertite.

The compound resists chemical attack, high pressure, and elevated temperature. Stainless Steel is known for excellent corrosion resistance in washdown and marine service, dimensional stability under thermal cycling. It should not be specified for service in galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or chloride stress cracking in some grades.

It sees regular use in chemical transfer, marine and offshore, and food and beverage processing.
