1/2" PART C 316 S/S TOUGH-TITE

Part number 3E05CSS is a Tough-Tite Stainless Steel Part C Female Coupler x Hose Shank Cam and Groove Coupling built to a 1/2 inch nominal size. A cam and groove coupling terminates a hose with a female coupler end. This item is further identified as Does Not Interchange With Evertite.

This material stands up to high pressure, corrosion and oxidation, and chemical attack. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Stainless Steel is specified for long service life in demanding outdoor environments and dimensional stability under thermal cycling. It should not be specified for service in chloride stress cracking in some grades or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals.
