This cam and groove coupling is supplied in Tough-Tite Stainless Steel measuring a 2 inch nominal size and an adjustment range of 2 inch (50.8 mm) to 3 inch (76.2 mm), catalogued under part number 3E2030SASS. It joins two male adapter ends back to back.

This material stands up to salt water and washdown, chemical attack, and corrosion and oxidation. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Stainless Steel delivers excellent corrosion resistance in washdown and marine service, high mechanical strength and pressure capability. It is not the right choice where chloride stress cracking in some grades or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals are present.
