The material holds up against salt water and washdown, elevated temperature, and chemical attack. Stainless Steel offers long service life in demanding outdoor environments, excellent corrosion resistance in washdown and marine service. It is not the right choice where chloride stress cracking in some grades or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals are present.
