APG stocks the 3E2040BAAL, a Tough-Tite Aluminum Coupler / Adapter Cam and Groove Coupling built to a 2 inch nominal size and an adjustment range of 2 inch to 4 inch. A cam and groove coupling combines a female coupler and male adapter in one body to join two hose runs.

Aluminum offers good corrosion resistance in general industrial service and a high strength-to-weight ratio that eases handling of large sizes. The material holds up against many petroleum products, general atmospheric corrosion, and weathering. Exposure to prolonged salt water immersion or strong acids and alkalis will shorten service life.
