3E30ASWSST is a Tough-Tite Stainless Steel Tube Socket Weld End Socket Weld Fitting with a 3 inch nominal size. In service, this socket weld fitting welds into a tube run to create a fixed connection point.

Stainless Steel is specified here for long service life in demanding outdoor environments, high mechanical strength and pressure capability. Expect good resistance to high pressure, corrosion and oxidation, and salt water and washdown. It is not the right choice where galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals or chloride stress cracking in some grades are present.
