Stainless Steel is specified here for hygienic, cleanable surface suited to sanitary process lines and dimensional stability under thermal cycling. Expect good resistance to salt water and washdown, corrosion and oxidation, and chemical attack.

It sees regular use in petrochemical, marine and offshore, and food and beverage processing.
