Ordered as TSP127, this is an AS568-127 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D Back-Up Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.424 in (36.17 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.63 in (41.4 mm). The back-up ring bridges the extrusion gap so the primary seal holds its shape under load.

PTFE (Teflon) offers excellent dielectric properties and near-universal chemical inertness. Expect good resistance to nearly all industrial chemicals, strong acids and bases, and steam.
