TSP141 is an AS568-141 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D Back-Up Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.3 in (58.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.506 in (63.65 mm). In service, this back-up ring installs on the low-pressure side of an o-ring to prevent extrusion into the clearance gap at elevated pressure.

It resists solvents, strong acids and bases, and oxidizing media. PTFE (Teflon) is valued for non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics and near-universal chemical inertness. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C) in continuous service.

Typical settings include laboratory equipment, semiconductor fabrication, and food and beverage.
