The TSP347 is an AS568-347 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D Back-Up Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 4.225 in (107.32 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 4.645 in (117.98 mm). This back-up ring bridges the extrusion gap so the primary seal holds its shape under load.

Expect good resistance to strong acids and bases, steam, and solvents. PTFE (Teflon) is specified for one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid and a very wide continuous service temperature range. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). Verify compatibility before use with service requiring elastic recovery or molten alkali metals.

Typical settings include semiconductor fabrication, laboratory equipment, and pharmaceutical and biotech.
