Ordered as TST012, this is an AS568-012 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D Back-Up Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.364 in (9.25 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.504 in (12.8 mm). The back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

Expect good resistance to solvents, steam, and oxidizing media. PTFE (Teflon) is specified for a very wide continuous service temperature range and non-stick, non-contaminating surface characteristics. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). Verify compatibility before use with elemental fluorine at temperature or service requiring elastic recovery.
