The TST113 is an AS568-113 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D Back-Up Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.549 in (13.94 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.755 in (19.18 mm). This back-up ring allows a standard o-ring to operate at higher pressures than it could unsupported.

PTFE (Teflon) is specified here for one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid and excellent dielectric properties. Expect good resistance to nearly all industrial chemicals, strong acids and bases, and solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C).
