TST210SO is an AS568-210 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D Back-Up Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.734 in (18.64 mm), a cross section of 0.139 in (3.53 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.012 in (25.7 mm). In service, this back-up ring allows a standard o-ring to operate at higher pressures than it could unsupported.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) delivers one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid and excellent dielectric properties. The material holds up against solvents, nearly all industrial chemicals, and oxidizing media. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). It is not the right choice where elemental fluorine at temperature or service requiring elastic recovery are present.

Typical settings include food and beverage, laboratory equipment, and pharmaceutical and biotech.
