The TST337 is an AS568-337 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D Back-Up Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 2.975 in (75.57 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.395 in (86.23 mm). This back-up ring bridges the extrusion gap so the primary seal holds its shape under load.

It resists nearly all industrial chemicals, solvents, and steam. PTFE (Teflon) is valued for excellent dielectric properties and near-universal chemical inertness. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 500°F (260°C).

Typical settings include chemical processing, semiconductor fabrication, and aggressive-media pipelines.
