Stainless Steel is specified here for long service life in demanding outdoor environments and hygienic, cleanable surface suited to sanitary process lines. The compound resists high pressure, salt water and washdown, and corrosion and oxidation. It is not the right choice where chloride stress cracking in some grades or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals are present.
