3/4" PART DP S/S U-TITE

Ordered as 3U07DPSS, this is an U-Tite Stainless Steel Dust Plug Cam and Groove Coupling built to a 3/4 inch nominal size. The cam and groove coupling closes off a male adapter to keep debris and moisture out of an idle line. Additional detail on this item: Dust Plug.

Expect good resistance to salt water and washdown, chemical attack, and corrosion and oxidation. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Stainless Steel is widely chosen for excellent corrosion resistance in washdown and marine service, high mechanical strength and pressure capability. It is not the right choice where chloride stress cracking in some grades or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals are present.

It sees regular use in petrochemical, marine and offshore, and chemical transfer.
