This material stands up to extrusion under high pressure, ozone, and petroleum oils. Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure and toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds. Published continuous service range is -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C). Exposure to ketones or acids and bases will shorten service life.
