8-021 BLACK FKM 90D BACK-UP RING

VBU90021 is an AS568-021 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.926 in (23.52 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.066 in (27.08 mm). In service, this back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. The material holds up against many acids, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with amines or hot water and steam.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, semiconductor equipment, and chemical processing.
