8-032 BLACK FKM 90D BACK-UP RING

APG stocks the VBU90032, an AS568-032 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.864 in (47.35 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.004 in (50.9 mm). A back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and many acids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is valued for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability.
