8-115 BLACK FKM 90D BACK-UP RING

The VBU90115 is an AS568-115 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring with an inside diameter of 0.674 in (17.12 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.88 in (22.35 mm). This back-up ring bridges the extrusion gap so the primary seal holds its shape under load.

It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. Viton® (FKM) is known for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Verify compatibility before use with hot water and steam or amines.
