8-119 BLACK FKM 90D BACK-UP RING

VBU90119 is an AS568-119 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.924 in (23.47 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.13 in (28.7 mm). In service, this back-up ring installs on the low-pressure side of an o-ring to prevent extrusion into the clearance gap at elevated pressure.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, engine and transmission fluids, and chlorinated solvents. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
