8-128 BLACK FKM 90D BACK-UP RING

Part number VBU90128 is an AS568-128 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.487 in (37.77 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.693 in (43 mm). A back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

It resists chlorinated solvents, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) offers outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Published continuous service range is -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to ketones and esters or amines will shorten service life.
