8-133 BLACK FKM 90D BACK-UP RING

VBU90133 is an AS568-133 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring with an inside diameter of 1.799 in (45.69 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.005 in (50.93 mm). In service, this back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for very low compression set at elevated temperature and industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).
