8-364 BLACK FKM 90D BACK-UP RING

Part number VBU90364 is an AS568-364 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 6.725 in (170.82 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.145 in (181.48 mm). A back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

Viton® (FKM) offers outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material holds up against chlorinated solvents, engine and transmission fluids, and aggressive chemicals. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where amines or hot water and steam are present.
