8-441 BLACK FKM 90D BACK-UP RING

VBU90441 is an AS568-441 black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A Back-Up Ring with an inside diameter of 6.975 in (177.17 mm), a cross section of 0.275 in (6.99 mm), and an outside diameter of 7.525 in (191.14 mm). In service, this back-up ring extends o-ring service life by supporting the seal against extrusion under high pressure.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is known for outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and aromatic hydrocarbons. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids.

Typical settings include chemical processing, automotive fuel systems, and semiconductor equipment.
