Part number VQ4002 is an AS568-002 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.042 in (1.07 mm), a cross section of 0.05 in (1.27 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.142 in (3.61 mm). A quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is valued for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, aggressive chemicals, and chlorinated solvents. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.
