VQ4007 is an AS568-007 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.145 in (3.68 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.285 in (7.24 mm). In service, this quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. Expect good resistance to chlorinated solvents, aggressive chemicals, and petroleum oils and fuels. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or ketones and esters call for a different compound.

It sees regular use in oil and gas, automotive fuel systems, and high-temperature process equipment.

Stocked as VQ4007 and sold individually. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 5/32 inch. Application requirements vary, so validate compatibility with your process conditions prior to installation.
