4010-514AD MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

Part number VQ4010 is an AS568-010 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.239 in (6.07 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.379 in (9.63 mm). A quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or hot water and steam will shorten service life.
