APG stocks the VQ4012, an AS568-012 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.364 in (9.25 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.504 in (12.8 mm). A quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) offers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. This material stands up to petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters are present.

It sees regular use in oil and gas, aerospace, and chemical processing.

Stocked as VQ4012 and sold individually. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 3/8 inch. Application requirements vary, so validate compatibility with your process conditions prior to installation.
