4027-514AD MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

Part number VQ4027 is an AS568-027 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 1.301 in (33.05 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.441 in (36.6 mm). A quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Viton® (FKM) is known for very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and aggressive chemicals. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids. The profile itself contributes resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings and lower compressive load required to achieve a seal.
