The VQ4033 is an AS568-033 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 1.989 in (50.52 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.129 in (54.08 mm). This quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. Viton® (FKM) offers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to hot water and steam or ketones and esters will shorten service life. The profile itself contributes lower compressive load required to achieve a seal and a parting line located away from the sealing surface.

It sees regular use in oil and gas, aerospace, and chemical processing.
