Part number VQ4036 is an AS568-036 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 2.364 in (60.05 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.504 in (63.6 mm). A quad-ring delivers lower friction and better sealing stability than a comparable round-section o-ring.

It resists petroleum oils and fuels, aggressive chemicals, and aromatic hydrocarbons. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) delivers very low compression set at elevated temperature and the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service.
