**4037-514AD MINNESOTA RUBBER QUADRING

Ordered as VQ4037, this is an AS568-037 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring built to an inside diameter of 2.489 in (63.22 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 2.629 in (66.78 mm). The quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, outstanding high-temperature capability. Expect good resistance to chlorinated solvents, aromatic hydrocarbons, and aggressive chemicals. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in amines or hot water and steam.
