*4044-514AD MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

The VQ4044 is an AS568-044 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 3.739 in (94.97 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 3.879 in (98.53 mm). This quad-ring uses a four-lobed profile to create two sealing surfaces per side, reducing the squeeze needed to seal.

Viton® (FKM) is valued for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to amines or ketones and esters will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in automotive fuel systems, oil and gas, and high-temperature process equipment.
