APG stocks the VQ4106, an AS568-106 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.174 in (4.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.38 in (9.65 mm). A quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

This material stands up to many acids, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers very low compression set at elevated temperature, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. Service temperature is rated from -15°F (-26.1°C) through 400°F (204.4°C).
