4109-514AD MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

Part number VQ4109 is an AS568-109 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.299 in (7.59 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.505 in (12.83 mm). A quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

Viton® (FKM) is specified for outstanding high-temperature capability and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The compound resists petroleum oils and fuels, aromatic hydrocarbons, and many acids. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Exposure to ketones and esters or amines will shorten service life.
