4110-514AD MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

The VQ4110 is an AS568-110 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.362 in (9.19 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.568 in (14.43 mm). This quad-ring seats in a standard o-ring gland while offering improved dynamic performance.

Expect good resistance to many acids, engine and transmission fluids, and petroleum oils and fuels. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) is specified for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and outstanding high-temperature capability. Rated temperature range runs from -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving amines or hot water and steam call for a different compound. The profile itself contributes lower compressive load required to achieve a seal and resistance to the spiral twisting that defeats round-section rings.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, oil and gas, and aerospace.
