Part number VQ4123 is an AS568-123 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.174 in (4.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.38 in (35.05 mm). A quad-ring resists spiral failure in reciprocating service thanks to its multi-lobe geometry.

The material holds up against many acids, petroleum oils and fuels, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) delivers excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C).

Typical settings include oil and gas, automotive fuel systems, and chemical processing.
