4124-514AD MINNESOTA RUBBER QUAD RING

The VQ4124 is an AS568-124 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 1.237 in (31.42 mm), a cross section of 0.103 in (2.62 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.443 in (36.65 mm). This quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

This material stands up to aggressive chemicals, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is specified for the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or low-molecular-weight organic acids are present.
